How does splitting into multiple files work?+
Choose 'Every N pages' to break the document into equal-sized chunks, 'Split between pages' to click exact spots in the preview where a new file should start, or 'Custom ranges' to type specific page ranges. Any pages you don't cover are automatically grouped into extra files.
How many files will I end up with?+
The tool shows a live preview of every resulting part and its page range before you split, so you know exactly how many files you'll get.
How do I download all the parts?+
Each part gets its own download button, or use 'Download All' to save every part in one go.
What's the difference between this and Extract Pages?+
Split PDF divides an entire document into several smaller PDFs. Extract Pages instead pulls a specific set of pages out into one new file, leaving the rest behind.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?+
No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
